The Scout LT does not use a lithium battery. It uses maintenance-free, sealed lead-acid AGM batteries and is available in two options:
- 12 AH battery: up to approximately 9 miles (14.5 km) per charge
- 20 AH battery: up to approximately 14 miles (22.5 km) per charge
The battery can be charged while it is installed in the scooter. The battery pack is also removable, allowing it to be charged separately when convenient.
The current price starts at CAD $1,389.00 on our website at www.homehealthcareshoppe.com, with free shipping in Canada. The estimated shipping time is approximately 3–5 business days, subject to stock availability and the delivery location.
The scooter includes:
- An electric horn
- Forward and reverse operation
- Automatic electromagnetic braking
- A padded Delta-style tiller
- Push-and-pull paddle throttle controls that can be operated with either hand
- Adjustable speed dial
- Colour-coded battery-level indicator
- Key switch
- Diagnostic warning light
It does not include a built-in headlight, and it does not have a digital display. The control panel uses a simple battery gauge and indicator lights.
